BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Ryan Evans had 13 points and eight rebounds, and Traevon Jackson added 11 points as Wisconsin upset second-ranked Indiana 64-59 Tuesday to take sole possession of the Big Ten Conference lead.
The Badgers (13-4 overall, 4-0 Big Ten) have won seven straight and beaten two Top 15 opponents in four days. They have won 11 straight over the Hoosiers and five in a row in Bloomington.
Cody Zeller scored 18 of his 23 points in the first half for Indiana (15-2, 3-1), which had a six-game winning streak and an 18-game home winning streak snapped.
The Hoosiers were listed as 12 ½-point favorites.
"Tonight when we weren't making shots, especially the ones that were open, we also didn't come down and stay as disciplined as we needed to be defensively," Indiana coach Tom Crean said.
