HONOLULU — Guard Mark Lyons scored 19 points to lead fourth-ranked Arizona to a 69-50 victory over Miami on Sunday in a semifinal game of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic.
The Wildcats gave coach Sean Miller the 200th victory of his career.
Miller, 44, is 200-82 in eight-plus seasons, including 80-35 in three-plus seasons at Arizona. He previously coached at Xavier.
Pac-12 Arizona (11-0), which is winning by an average of 19 points, will face 18th-ranked San Diego State for the tournament championship on Tuesday.
The Aztecs (11-1) of the Mountain West Conference beat Indiana State 62-55 in the first semifinal game at Stan Sheriff Center.
Nick Johnson scored 12 points for Arizona and Kevin Parrom added 11.
Kenny Kadji had 19 points for the Hurricanes (8-2).
Earlier, Jamaal Franklin led the way for San Diego State with 19 points and 15 rebounds.
San Diego State's Chase Tapley, who scored 13 points, said he thinks Indiana State (6-4) gave the Aztecs their toughest test of the season.
"Every trip down the floor seemed like a big possession," San Diego State coach Steve Fisher said. "Both teams came up empty at times."
