STANFORD, Calif. — Chiney Ogwumike had 16 points and 11 rebounds as top-ranked Stanford beat Long Beach State 77-41 Sunday in its first game holding the top place in women's basketball in nearly eight years.
Joslyn Tinkle added 18 points and seven rebounds for the Cardinal (6-0), which extended the nation's best home winning streak to 81 games at Maples Pavilion.

Nirra Fields scored 26 points and Markel Walker added 23 as the Bruins (3-1) overcame an 11-point first-half deficit to beat the Tigers (3-2).
UCLA held Princeton to 27 percent shooting in the second half and 34 percent for the game.

Janae Fulcher scored a career-high 26 points on 13-for-16 shooting to lead the Sun Devils (2-3) past the Gators (5-2) at the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout in Las Vegas.
