CHARLESTON, S.C. — Askia Booker had a career-high 23 points and Andre Roberson had 16 points and nine rebounds as Colorado won the Charleston Classic with an 81-74 victory over Murray State on Sunday night.
The Buffaloes (4-0) used an 11-1 run midway through the second half to break open a tie game and finish off their perfect trip South. Booker closed that run with a three-pointer and Colorado was ahead for good, 63-53 with 5:05 to go.
Murray State (3-1) was the last undefeated team in 2011-12, starting 23-0 on the way to a 31-2 record. The Racers got within five points several times down the stretch, including 79-74 on Isaiah Canaan's basket with four seconds left.
Booker, who scored 58 points in three games, was awarded the tournament's most valuable player.
Canaan led Murray State with 21 points.

Phil Forte had 17 points for the Cowboys (4-0). Rodney Purvis had 16 points and T.J. Warren added 15 points for the Wolfpack (3-1).

Brandon Triche had 21 points and seven rebounds, abd James Southerland added 15 points and three blocks as Syracuse rolled.
Syracuse (2-0) has won 23 straight home games and 34 in a row in the Carrier Dome against nonconference foes.

Mason Plumlee scored a career-high 28 points as Duke earned its school-record 96th straight nonconference win at home. Freshman Rasheed Sulaimon added 19 points and Ryan Kelly had 14 points for the Blue Devils (3-0).

In Tampa, Fla., Kenny Boynton had 20 points and Will Yeguete scored 11 and grabbed 13 rebounds to help Florida pull away from Middle Tennessee. Boynton scored the final 13 of the game for the Gators (3-0).

Jahii Carson scored 20 points, Jonathan Gilling had 13 points and 15 rebounds, and Arizona State fended off a second-half rally by Florida A&M to pull away. Jordan Bachynski had 14 points, eight rebounds and blocked six shots for the Sun Devils (2-0).
Belmont 70, at Stanford 62
Ian Clark scored 11 of his 15 points in the second half, including a go-ahead three-pointer, to lead Belmont (3-0) past Stanford. Christian Sanders and Stefan Nastic each scored 11 points to lead the Cardinal (3-1), which had an eight-game winning streak, dating to last year, snapped. Chasson Randle added 10 points, and Josh Huestis had 13 rebounds.
