• Coach Mark Few's friendship with Bruce Weber results in two games this year — the Battle in Seattle on Dec. 15 with Weber's new team, Kansas State, and the fourth game in a series with Illinois on Dec. 8 in Spokane. The Illini fired Weber in March.

• Gonzaga is the opponent for Butler's hosting of ESPN's College Basketball GameDay on Jan. 19.
