The 168 points are the most Denver has scored in a game since Jan. 11, 1984, against San Antonio. It is also the most the Nuggets have scored in regulation.
The Nuggets, who led by as many as 55 in the fourth quarter, fell 16 points shy of the franchise record, set in a 186-184 triple-overtime loss to Detroit on Dec. 13, 1983.
The Nuggets' 168 points top the 138 they scored against Seattle in a 32-point win on Feb. 27, which was also the league high for the season. Denver scored 84 points in both halves, surpassing the previous high of 80 set by Phoenix on Nov. 21.
Camby had 13 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists to notch his second triple-double of the season and fourth of his 12-year career. Kenyon Martin had 23 points, one of eight Denver players in double figures.
The Nuggets have won three straight, all by blowout. They beat Memphis by 22 Wednesday night and the Raptors by 32 Friday night. They moved within 1 1/2 games of Golden State for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
The Nuggets wasted little time in jumping on the SuperSonics on Sunday. Three players scored in double figures in the first quarter, led by Iverson's 12. Denver shot 69 percent from the field in the first 12 minutes.
Iverson, playing with a fractured ring finger, did his damage in the first 6 minutes of the quarter, when he scored all of his first-quarter points. He also passed to Martin for a dunk during the Nuggets' opening quarter.
Denver didn't let up in the second quarter, hitting five 3-pointers and scoring 36 points. They led 84-58 at the break. Kevin Durant, who led the Sonics with 23 points, scored 15 in the second quarter.
Notes: Sonics coach P.J. Carlesimo is one win shy of 200 NBA victories. ... The Nuggets are 40-26, tied for the fourth-best start in franchise history and their best start since 1987-88. ... Coming into Sunday's game, Durant was averaging 21.1 points in eight games in March, up from 19.5 points in his first 64 games.
