Starbucks donates money for World AIDS Day
Posted by Melissa Allison
Starbucks will donate a nickel for every drink sold today at participating stores in the U.S. and Canada to the (Red) Global Fund, a partner to many big-name corporations. In the past year, the group generated $140 million to support AIDS programs in Africa.
For people who can't make it to Starbucks, it will contribute up to $50,000 altogether to the fund for drawings submitted to its "Love Gallery."
