On the Move: O’Brien named executive VP at Tommy Bahama

Bradley O’Brien was named executive vice president of design and product development at Tommy Bahama, a Seattle-based apparel company.

O’Brien, who has more than 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, will be responsible for all facets of design and product development for all product categories within the Tommy Bahama Group.

Most recently, she served as vice president of women’s design and global trends for Sperry Top-Sider.

Consulting:Jonathan Mueller joined the Hanson Professional Services Seattle regional office in Bellevue.

Insurance:Sheryl Medeiros was appointed general counsel of AssureStart, an online small-business insurance provider based in Seattle.

Investment:Larry “Lars” Knudsen and Dan Stober joined HighTower Bellevue as partners.

Law: Timothy Billick joined the Mann Law Group in Seattle. Paul Rusyn joined Seed IP Law Group in Seattle as of counsel in its Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Group.

Marketing: Katie Meyers was named account executive of Rizen Creative’s new office in Seattle. Erika Schmidt joined Morse Best Innovation as principal and Erik Wirsing was named chief storyteller at the Seattle-based company.

Public radio:Phyllis Fletcher of KUOW in Seattle was named managing editor of Northwest News Network, a collaboration of public-radio stations in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
