A dust-up between the company that owns Tully’s coffee shops and Keurig Green Mountain, the coffee giant that owns the brand, has ended peacefully.

A spokeswoman for Seattle-based Global Baristas, the company that bought Tully’s coffee shops out of bankruptcy last year, said in an email the companies “have fully resolved all misunderstandings between them and look forward to a fruitful and long term relationship together.”

In May, Vermont-based Keurig sued Global Baristas, claiming it was owed $469,000 for supplies, including coffee.

It also said Global Baristas was using coffee from local roasters and tweaking the packaging of bagged coffee sold in stores without Keurig’s permission.

Keurig, which roasts the Tully’s coffee sold in grocery stores and has owned the rights to the brand since 2008, threatened to revoke the coffee-shop chain’s permission to use the name.

Representatives from Global Baristas and Keurig declined to give additional details about the settlement.
