Waechter named CEO of Seattle Hospitality Group | On the Move

Marka Waechter was named CEO of Seattle Hospitality Group, a holding company of hospitality and transportation organizations, including SHWorldwide, MTR Western, Emerald City Trolley and MC&A.

Collectively, Seattle Hospitality Group has more than 400 employees in Washington and Hawaii.

Waechter also has held leadership positions with other organizations, including Rue La La, Broadway Bound Children’s Theatre and Cendant Travel Services Division.

Commercial real estate: Erwin Park joined NAI Puget Sound Properties in Seattle as senior associate.

Engineering: Joseph Godwin was named electrical project manager at Sparling, Lynnwood.

Health care: Dr. Edelveis Clapp joined the Pediatrics Department at Group Health Northgate Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Karen Berlin joined the Group Health Behavioral Health Services Department in Seattle. Dr. Vijayalakshmi Bandari joined the Group Health Consultative Internal Medicine Department at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.

Law: Kate Lopez Ley joined Cowan Miller & Lederman, Seattle. Mark McMaster joined Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, Seattle. William Walsh joined Cozen O’Connor, Seattle. Ava (Xiaoqiu) Wang and Ashley Long joined Ater Wynne, Seattle.

Nonprofit: Jenn Nudelman joined Komen Puget Sound in Seattle as director of finance and operations.

Manufacturing: John Beaver was appointed chief financial officer at Modumetal, Seattle.
