Merrill Place building in Pioneer Square sold for $57M

Los Angeles-based Hudson Pacific Properties said in a regulatory filing it has a deal to acquire Merrill Place in Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood for $57.7 million .

Los Angeles-based Hudson Pacific Properties said in a regulatory filing it has a deal to acquire Merrill Place in Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood for $57.7 million .

Merrill Place, located at 1st Avenue South and South King Street, is 93 percent leased and made up of four brick-and-beam buildings that contain about 179,000 square feet, the company said.

Hudson Pacific said the property includes a development site that can support 140,000 square feet of new office and retail space, plus parking for 280 vehicles. The company already owns an adjacent office building south of the property.
