Kevin Scott named GM of Hotel Max in Seattle
Notable hires and promotions.
Kevin Scott was named by Provenance Hotels to be general manager of its Hotel Max in downtown Seattle.
Scott joins Hotel Max from the Galleria Park Hotel in San Francisco, where he was director of operations. Before that, he served as market director for Off The Grid Services and was responsible for 15 weekly food-truck markets with more than 50 individually owned and operated food trucks.
He also spent several years at the W San Francisco in a variety of roles, including business travel sales manager, rooms manager and director of style.
Accounting: Evan Sonntag was promoted to manager of Newman Dierst Hales in Seattle.
Associations: Francois Madath of American Reporting Co. was elected president of the Seattle Mortgage Bankers Association.
Biotech: Dr. Richard Kenney was appointed chief medical officer at Immune Design, Seattle.
Construction: Zach Wasielewski, Rick Bisol, Jamie Armintrout, Shelby Borg and Nate Messner were hired at Skanska USA, Seattle.
Data storage: Phil Bullinger was named senior vice president of engineering and operations at EMC Isilon, Seattle.
Health care: Cindy Nelson was hired as director of sales and SarahRose Bernhardt as sales associate at Vera Whole Health, Seattle.
Hotels: Chris Howard was appointed director of group sales at Grand Hyatt Seattle and Hyatt at Olive 8 in Seattle.
Law: Carla DewBerry joined K&L Gates in Seattle as a partner.
Marketing: Patricia Glazer joined Turner Research Network in Seattle as vice president.
Nonprofits: Glenn Miller was hired as national director, communications, media and publications for Pet Partners, Bellevue. Molly von Mitschke Collande joined Amara in Seattle as director of communications, and Megan Walton was promoted to director of strategic partnerships at Amara.
Title insurance: Tammy Woodruff was hired as account executive at WFG National Title of Washington, Seattle.
