Barbara Gordon was named chief operating officer at data-storage company EMC Isilon in Seattle.
Gordon is the former head of Microsoft’s global Customer Service and Support organization. Before that, she was based in Paris, where she managed Microsoft’s enterprise and partner group sales for EMEA.
She also has held senior-level executive positions at companies such as AT&T, Digital Equipment and Sun Microsystems.

Cruise lines: Retired Rear Adm. Keith Taylor was appointed senior vice president for both Holland America Line and Seabourn, Seattle.

Digital marketing: Karim Meghji was named chief product officer and vice president of engineering at buuteeq, Seattle.
