Martin Steele was appointed president and CEO of The Bank of Washington, based in Lynnwood.
Steele’s banking career spans more than 30 years and most recently was president and CEO of Charter Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Boston Private Bank & Trust, until its sale in May.
Before that, Steele held management positions with The Commerce Bank of Washington, Windswept Capital and Bank of America.
Banking: Dianna Johnson was hired as a residential loan officer at Banner Bank in Redmond.
Commercial real estate: Jen Reyes joined Fidelity National Title in Seattle as vice president, national business development.
Consulting: Scott Pawling joined Landau Associates in Edmonds as an associate geotechnical engineer.
Engineering: Jason King joined Herrera Environmental Consultants, Seattle.
Health care: Dr. Douglas Burns, Dr. Tanya Cabrita and Cory Burch joined EvergreenHealth Sport & Spine Center, Kirkland.
Law: John Sharp joined Hanson Baker Ludlow Drumheller, Bellevue. Juan Zheng joined Christensen O’Connor Johnson Kindness, Seattle.
Medical marijuana: Rebecca Kelley was named content and community manager at Leafly, Seattle.
Nonprofit: Rosemary Coleman was hired as development director and Serena Holthe as manager at Lawyers Fostering Independence, Seattle.
Public relations: Heather Fernandez was hired as senior account executive and Anthony Cogswell as account coordinator at The Fearey Group, Seattle.
Real estate: Martha Picinich and Elaine Shankland joined Keller Williams Greater Seattle.
Wood products: Jeanne Hillman was appointed vice president and chief accounting officer at Weyerhaeuser, Federal Way.
