A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that Jay Bower, the new CEO of Landau Associates, had served in the Navy and Navy Reserve and has 35 years of experience as a project manager and environmental permitter. That information applies to the company’s retiring CEO, Steve Johnston. Bower joined Landau Associates in 1998 and has 29 years of experience as a civil engineer specializing in site-remediation services, program management, and federal and state regulatory negotiations in the western United States. Bower was previously the firm’s environmental-services director and chief operating officer and has been a member of the firm’s board of directors.
