ARLINGTON, Wash. —

Strawberry growers in Snohomish County say they are having one of their best crops in years.

Agriculture experts say warm early spring weather helped, in contrast to cold rainy springs the past two years in Western Washington.

The Daily Herald reports ( http://bit.ly/15CvsUC) the crop is peaking now and strawberries are available at you-pick fields, farmers' markets and stands.

Fresh strawberries should be available for a while this summer and growers say their raspberries are nearly ready.
