Humphreys named president, CEO at Icicle Seafoods | On the Move

Amy Humphreys was appointed president and chief executive at Icicle Seafoods in Seattle. Humphreys previously served as president of Delta Western, a petroleum marketing and distribution company in Alaska.

Before that, she was chief financial officer of Northstar Utilities Group, and also held executive positions at American Seafoods Group.

Brand design:Patti Frey Benjamin was named director, brand strategy at Phinney Bischoff, Seattle.

Education:Michael Bragg was named dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Washington, Seattle.

Education technology:Peter Biere was named chief financial officer at DreamBox Learning, Bellevue. Milton Snyder joined GreenBridge Computing in Seattle as a senior executive consultant.

Engineering:Michael Fadden was hired as an engineering designer at Otak, Kirkland.

Financial services:Bill Higgins was named an adviser at Vestory, Kirkland.

Government:Joe Scorcio was named director of community and economic development for the city of SeaTac.

Insurance:Shannon Beric, Cristi Carrington and Lisa Rodriguez were named vice presidents and principals at Brown & Riding / AMW, Seattle. Steven Colson was made a principal/partner at Lovsted-Worthington, Bothell.

Management consulting:Jeremy Gordon, Lenore Ordonez and Aaron Van Reenen were hired as associates and Nina Huang as marketing specialist at Point B, Seattle.

Marketing:Pete Hughes was promoted to creative director and Patrick Mullins was hired as creative director at DNA Seattle.

Nonprofit research/education:Dan Sytman was named director of communications and marketing at the Washington Policy Center, Seattle.

Venture capital: Molly Gregg Otter was appointed vice president at Lighter Capital, Seattle.
