Boeing announced Thursday that Elizabeth Lund will take over as head of 777 production and Eric Lindblad will take her place as head of 747 production, both in Everett.

Lund, who will also retain her role as Everett site leader, has previously led both 747 and 767 production and also headed 777 manufacturing when it switched to a moving line.

Lindblad had been vice president of 737 manufacturing operations, in charge of wing making and final assembly in Renton.

The changes follow a re-organization in December, when Scott Fancher, who had been heading 777 production, was promoted to head all new airplane development programs.

He’s responsible for oversight of 737 MAX, 767 Tanker, and 787-9, programs that have already been launched, as well as 787-10 and 777X, new programs expected to launch this year.
