The developer of a proposed luxury hotel across the street from Bellevue’s Downtown Park has put the site up for sale.
Hydra Developments of Bellevue is asking $5.75 million for the 0.35-acre property at Northeast First Street and 102nd Avenue Northeast, according to a listing posted on the Commercial Brokers Association’s website Thursday.
Hydra, a real-estate arm of an Abu Dhabi-based consortium, bought the site in 2007 and originally proposed a luxury condo project there. After the real-estate crash it replaced that with a plan for a nine-story, 108-room hotel called the Bellevue Park.
City planners approved the building, but a city official said last fall there had been no recent permit activity.
Hydra executives did not return calls or an email Thursday.
