Bellevue cloud company acquired in $55 million deal

Intermedia, a cloud services provider for small and mid-sized businesses, is acquiring Bellevue-based cloud communications company Telanetix.

Intermedia, based in Mountain View, Calif., is paying $55 million in the deal, including the assumption of a $13 million debt.

Telanetix’s hosted telecom voice services is marketed under the “AccessLine” brand. In 1997, AccessLine had merged with San Diego-based Telanetix.
