Garage-door maker to lay off 55 people in January
Ohio-based Clopay Building Products notified the state it intends to lay off 55 people at its Auburn factory in January.

Ohio-based Clopay Building Products, a leading maker of garage doors, plans to lay off 55 people on Jan. 25 at its Auburn factory, according to a notice filed with the state. Nine of those laid off will be offered jobs at a nearby distribution center, while the rest will be offered positions at the company’s Ohio factory, according to the Washington Department of Employment Security.
