On the move: Leister named GM of Washington Dairy Products Commission
Notable hires and promotions in the Seattle area.
Janet Leister was appointed general manager of the Washington Dairy Products Commission, based in Lynnwood.
She previously served as international marketing manager for the Washington State Department of Agriculture, and was with the Hawaii Department of Agriculture.
Leister also has served as president of the World Trade Club in Seattle.
Advertising: Mike Hayward was appointed creative director at Copacino+Fujikado, Seattle. Joe Bowman was named creative business development director and Kemie Nanstad marketing coordinator and social-media specialist at GA Creative, Bellevue.
Banking: Christy Lockrem joined HomeStreet Bank, Bellevue.
Commercial real estate: Rob Anderson joined Kidder Mathews, Seattle.
Communications: Karen Sung was named director of public relations, and Jonna Bell account manager of marketing at Nyhus Communications, Seattle.
Health care: Mark Jones was hired as business development director at Erdman, Seattle.
Investing: Jamie Bozied was hired as a financial adviser, and Ted Gray as a registered investment adviser at Pacific Capital Resource Group, Bellevue.
Food: Mark von Hagel was named vice president, finance and corporate treasurer of National Frozen Foods, Seattle.
Law: Timothy Casey joined Woodcock Washburn, Seattle. Margaret Cerrato-Blue rejoined the environmental practice group at Riddell Williams, Seattle.
Organizations: Patrick "Pat" McCormick was hired as vice president of insurance and Lori Reed as IT project specialist at AAA Washington, Bellevue.
Real estate: Brenda Nunes joined Keller Williams, Kirkland.
Research: John Wecker was appointed president and CEO at Pacific Northwest Diabetes Research Institute, Seattle.
Solar energy: Robert Stone was named head of business development at Fast Solar Services, Seattle.
