Maud Daudon, who has chaired the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce board and served as the interim president and CEO, will now officially lead the group.

Daudon was the president and CEO of Seattle-based Northwest Securities Corp., an investment bank, broker-dealer and asset management firm, for about a decade. Before that, she was the deputy major and chief of staff at the City of Seattle for four years and the chief financial officer for the Port of Seattle for six.

The chamber, an independent organization of 2,200 businesses, recently focused on replacing the Viaduct with a tunnel that helps carry Route 99 traffic through downtown Seattle, the 520 bridge expansion and promoting the aerospace industry.
