Agricultural trade conference set for Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. —

Workshops on the international trade of agricultural goods from Virginia will be held next week in Richmond.

The Governor's Conference on Agricultural Trade is set for March 13 and 14 at the Omni Hotel.

The event is co-hosted by Virginia Tech's Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics, the state Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation and the Virginia Port Authority

Among those expected to be in attendance are Virginia-based agribusinesses, exporters, and foreign ambassadors and embassy ministers.

This will mark the conference's fourth year.
