On the move: Ken Moss named VP at eBay, Seattle

Ken Moss was named vice president of technology and science at eBay and will be based in Seattle to help build the Internet company's presence in the region.

Moss, who formerly worked at CrowdEye and Microsoft, will be responsible for managing, growing and developing the back-end of buyer and seller experiences on eBay.

Commercial real estate: James Keating rejoined the Seattle office of Grubb & Ellis as senior vice president, Office Group.

Law: Karen Henckel joined Seed IP Law Group in Seattle.

Hotels: Randall Obrecht was appointed food & beverage director and Lisa Blair director of catering at the Sorrento Hotel in Seattle.

Restaurants: Catherine Mirabile was named general manager, Josh Westcott chef de cuisine and Carolyn Henning director of catering at the new Harborside and Harborside Bistro in Seattle.

Senior care: Cindi Laws was hired as vice president of business development at Concierge Care Advisors in Seattle.

Technology: Todd Floyd was appointed vice president of worldwide sales and operations at Adaptiva in Bellevue. Anil Amlani, former president and CEO of SonoSite's VisualSonics subsidiary, was appointed chief financial officer of SonoSite, Bothell.
