Columbia State Bank filed notice Thursday it intends to foreclose on the site of a proposed six-story, 170-room hotel in Ballard.
Ballard Hotel LLC of Bellevue hasn't made a payment since November on a 2007 loan, the bank said in a notice of trustee sale filed with King County.
The property is the site of the former Yankee Diner on 24th Avenue Northwest south of Market Street. Silver Cloud Inns & Hotels first proposed a hotel there in 2005.
Ballard Hotel bought the property in 2007, and last year received city permits for the project, according to public records..
The trustee sale is scheduled for July 22.
