New south Bellevue light-rail route urged

During Monday's council meeting, the Bellevue City Council asked Sound Transit to study a new south Bellevue route for light rail that cuts through Mercer Slough Nature Park. If you're wondering what that alignment might look like, here's the first map to come out that shows the proposed route.
Sound Transit has already selected a preferred alignment, which runs up Bellevue Way Southeast.
