‘Revolution,’ ‘Bates Motel’ are Monday TV Picks


“Revolution”

After a bit of a break, this hit adventure drama from executive producers J.J. Abrams (”Lost,” “Alias”) and Eric Kripke (”Supernatural”) is back for the second half of its premiere season. The Matheson family (including Billy Burke, Tracy Spiridakos and Elizabeth Mitchell) continues to try and turn the power back on and re-establish the United States of America. 10:01 p.m. Monday on NBC (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).

“The Following,” 9 p.m. (Fox): Ryan and Parker try to recover after losing Claire to Joe’s followers; Claire has an unexpected reunion as she adjusts to life at the mansion; Jacob struggles with Emma’s betrayal.

“Kind Hearted Woman,” 9 p.m. (KCTS): Robin Charboneau, a divorced, single mother, raises her children on North Dakota’s Spirit Lake Reservation.

“Love it or List It,” 9 p.m. (HGTV): Sandra and Sharon are at odds over their bungalow.

“Bates Motel,” 10 p.m. (A&E): Dylan learns there is more to his new job than he originally thought; Emma and Norman make a shocking discovery.

“Castle,” 10:01 p.m. (ABC): While stuck at home with a broken leg, Castle believes he witnesses a murder in the apartment across the street.
