We celebrate the outdoors right here in town at Camp Long

In the 1930s, the park’s namesake, Juvenile Court Judge William G. Long, battled his way through the tangled, swampy land on which the park now sits. Instead of the golf course others had planned, he envisioned a camp where kids could experience nature and camping without leaving the city.
