Korea’s fish special: a delicate mix of outhouse and ammonia

Customers eat a "sam-hap" dish, which consists of boiled pork, fermented kimchi and sashimi of skate fish, at a restaurant on the island of Heuksan, South Korea. Hongeo, or fermented skate, is prized in South Korea for fumes so strong they sometimes cause people's mouths to peel.
