Concealed-carry permits skyrocket, especially for women

Linda Waggoner obtained her Concealed Pistol License in Washington about three years ago, and also had one in Alaska for 10 years. "We live in such an isolated area, for me, it's for protection," said Waggoner, who lives with her husband near Granite Falls. Isolated roads, bears and cougars are part of life in this area of Snohomish County.
