Ancient girl’s skeleton changes scientist’s mind on human migration

Divers Susan Bird and Alberto Nava search the walls of Hoyo Negro, an underwater cave on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula where the skeletal remains of Naia were found in 2007. The project was largely funded by National Geographic and announced Thursday in the journal Science.
