Ancient girl’s skeleton changes scientist’s mind on human migration

Divers Alberto Nava and Susan Bird transport the skull found at Hoyo Negro to an underwater turntable so it can be photographed to create a 3-D model. The project was largely funded by the National Geographic Society and reported Thursday in the journal Science.
