Was poisoning of biologist’s dog a warning from Calif. pot growers?

Mourad Gabriel, a biologist researching the deaths of California fishers, is tracking in Humboldt County, California, with his wife, ecologist Greta Wengert. Their dog died from a super-toxin that has been linked to the deaths of Pacific fishers, and authorities think the dog’s poisoning was meant as “a very clear message” to Gabriel.
