The UW mixes art and science with worldwide talent

Students in Twomey’s class critique a wooden sculpture of a woman with a camera implanted in her backside. Made by student Jon Paden, the camera live-streams to a nearby iPad, which is part of the experience. He said he put the camera there to tap into people’s natural curiosity and to get a laugh. “It’s a way to take something beautiful and turn it into a bad fart joke,” Paden said.
