Sisters forever? Lurid murder case tests sister-city bonds

On the 10th anniversary of the devastating earthquake that hit Kobe, Japan, in 1995, Kazuo Tanaka, Counsel General of Japan, rings the Kobe Bell at Seattle Center. The bell was a gift to Seattle from its sister city in 1962. Kobe became Seattle’s first sister city in 1957.
