THEN: The view looks southeast over the open acres of the Western Washington Fairgrounds after the matinee performance of Cheyenne Bill’s Wild West Show during the summer of 1909. For want of a railroad connection to deliver livestock to its shows, the fairgrounds were moved to Puyallup, where they survive.
