Start of Seattle seawall replacement to tuck Alaskan Way under viaduct

Traffic is being diverted to Alaskan Way, at left, as a temporary roadway under the viaduct between Madison and Pike streets is built in Seattle. Once the road is built, traffic will be moved off Alaskan Way to under the viaduct so that construction can start on a new waterfront seawall.
