A survivor from Tacloban, which was devastated by Typhoon Haiyan, gestures while sitting on the ground after disembarking a Philippine Air Force C-130 aircraft at the Villamor Airbase, Tuesday in Manila, Philippines. Authorities said at least 9.7 million people in 41 provinces were affected by the typhoon, known as Haiyan elsewhere in Asia but called Yolanda in the Philippines.
