Punk-rock enthusiast Kyle Palmer has a portrait of The Gits lead singer Mia Zapata tattooed on his leg. Her music and 1993 murder moved people in Seattle to create the Home Alive anti-violence organization, which provided self-defense training for about 20 years. Jack Matisse is the tattoo artist.
