Next generations tell the buried tales of Chinese Northwesterners

Bettie Luke, sister of former Seattle City Councilman Wing Luke, takes in Seattle's Chinatown from the upstairs portion of the Wing Luke Museum that has been left in its original condition as a turn-of-the-century Seattle hotel. She has led efforts to produce a Chinese immigration school curriculum and to ensure that Chinese immigration historic sites are memorialized.
