Big and fancy, fast, fun or just efficient, cars move us

The highest recorded price for a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline in the Seattle metropolitan area was $4.38 in July of 2008, when the nation was in the throes of a recession. While we're below that all-time high today, the cost of filling up remains an important consideration when deciding what car to buy.
