Washington wine-bottle maker rises from the ashes

Burgundy-style wine bottle, still hot from molding, move down a line at Bennu Glass in Kalama. Officials at the bottle manufacturer are excited about their growth prospects, largely because of demand generated by expanding West Coast wine operations. The factory, built in 2007, suffered a near-fatal setback after a furnace leak in 2009.
