Magnolia home is urban contemporary and getaway cozy

The beams in the kitchen are newly revealed. Cabinets throughout the house are veneer from a single sapele tree, crafted by Bob Kinsella. Floors are rift-cut oak. Counters are absolute black granite with a silk finish.
