Seared Oatmeal: Nancy Leson dishes up a different breakfast treat

As wholesome as it is comforting, a bowl of steel-cut oats can be decked out with dried fruit and nuts. Why steel-cut oats? Because they're made from whole-grain groats, the nutritious inner part of the oat kernel (shown right).
