College on the cheap

Angie Weiss, left, knocked a year off the cost of going to the University of Washington by enrolling in Running Start in high school. The program allowed her to earn both high-school and college credits by taking classes at a state community college. Weiss has accumulated enough credits to graduate from the UW in just three years.
