Alaska senator threatens to put hold on Jewell nomination

Izembek Lagoon in the Izembek National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska is home to the largest known bed of eelgrass, which provides a nutritious buffet for waterfowl before heading south. Nearby residents want to build a road through the refuge for emergency services.
