Old Queen Anne bungalow takes on a modern point of view

The old breakfast nook sits comfortably in the new contemporary kitchen. The table is fin-ply and walnut veneer, like the cabinet fronts. The fir beams are from Craigslist. Moe's brother, Chris Newcomb, made the wine cubby, sheet metal painted white, at right.
