Landscape designer Terry Welch takes his Zen vision to Vashon

Garden designer Terry Welch used a simple circle of moon gate to celebrate the view into the ancient conifers surrounding his Vashon Island garden. Marking such venerable trees with rope is a Shinto tradition.
