From The Evergreen State College art museum, via Craigslist, Henderson got 1-inch tongue-and-groove old-growth vertical-grain fir for trim around doors and windows. The doors are from Habitat for Humanity in South Seattle. Any new lumber he had to buy was certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
